Research Paper

This is a Search paper which means you will be using articles and sources for your information rather than going out and gathering the data yourself.

The paper for this class will be 8-10 pages long.  You will use APA 6th Edition and you should follow all font size and styles as indicated in APA 6th Edition.   Visit https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ for details about APA 6th Edition.

Topic:  You may choose your own topic but it must be approved by the instructor before you begin.  Look for an organization that is of interest to you.  To gain approval, you must submit a paper proposal under the drop box.  If you do not have an approved proposal, your final paper will not be accepted.  Your proposal should include your organization name and your name.

Be sure you include your title page, table of contents, abstract, and references.  These four items do not count towards your total page count.  If you have charts to share, please add them as an appendix and not within the paper as that will count against your page count if it is within your paper.

Grading:  Please be sure to use spelling and grammar check AND have someone proof read your paper.  You will lose points for spelling and grammar errors and this is 20% of you overall grade.  Of the 200 points the Rubric looks as follows:
